Frequently Asked Questions

Why Choose Teeth Today Implant Center?

Dental implants mean a huge financial and physical commitment. We understand that committing to them can cause undue stress. It is imperative to choose a trustworthy and affordable dentist to get the job done.

The Teeth Today Implant Center specializes in implants. Our dentists have years of experience placing and fitting implants so that your smile looks natural. Experts who have done the same operation on multiple patients can guarantee the best possible result.

Our center only uses the highest-quality materials to perform implant surgery. We order implant supports made of titanium. We also use dental crowns made of porcelain or PMMA for our hybrid bridges to perfectly mimic the color and shape of your teeth.

Dental implants function and feel like natural teeth, making them an easy adjustment after your procedure. Not only will your smile look as beautiful as it used to, but you will also have the freedom to eat whatever foods you want.

The dentists at the Teeth Today Implant Center want the best results for you. As such, we check for problems such as jaw degradation and gum disease before we perform the implant procedure, so you can avoid complications post-surgery.

How much do All-on-x dental implants cost?

At Teeth Today Implant Center, we work with you and your budget so that you can get the smile you deserve. Our limited-time promotional price for straight forward surgeries start at $14,900 per arch.

This price is all-inclusive and includes the procedure itself, anesthesia, as well as the restoration.

Drs. Torkaman and Hawatmeh pride themselves on being fully transparent with all of their patients. The final price is discussed during the consultation so that there are no hidden fees. If you have any questions regarding pricing or the procedure itself, call us today.

Is the procedure painful?

This surgery requires IV sedation and local anesthesia in your mouth, meaning that you will not feel anything while your dentist performs the procedure. We employ licensed anesthesiologists so that you can go to your surgery stress-free.

After the anesthetic wears off, you may notice some mild discomfort. However, if you have ever had a tooth extraction, many patients say that dental implants cause less pain! It is rare for patients to experience severe pain.

Some patients also experience swelling around the implants for the first few days. Your dentist will either prescribe or recommend painkillers depending on the expected severity of pain. Most discomfort from dental implant surgery normally disappears after about 10 days.

Overall, dental implants should leave you with little discomfort and a near-painless recovery.

Am I a candidate for All-on-x dental implants?
Most patients who are edentulous or in need of extracting their remaining teeth due to bone loss or decay are perfect candidates for this procedure.

At your consultation visit our dentists will do a comprehensive exam to determine whether you are a candidate for this procedure.

If you are a smoker, you must quit at least one month prior to surgery. Nicotine use constricts blood vessels, causing minimal or no blood flow to the surgery site. With compromised blood flow, the healing process and osseointegration will not occur properly, causing implant failure.

Can All-on-x implants really offer same-day teeth?

In most cases, yes, patients will receive their permanent teeth the same day or within 24 hours of surgery. Some patients may require temporary bridges before moving on to a final set of permanent ones.

How is the All-on-x Dental Implant System different from other implants?

Other implant systems replace each individual tooth with an implant that anchors each prosthetic tooth in place. For patients with multiple missing or broken teeth, that can mean numerous implants, which can become incredibly expensive.

The All-on-x dental implant system typically relies on four strategically placed implant points for each arch. The reduced number of implants keeps costs lower and takes advantage of the strongest points of your jaw.

Most All-on-x patients don’t require bone grafts for this procedure. Other types of dental implants may require bone grafts to ensure a strong bond. All-on-x uses computer technology to identify the best points for each implant without relying on additional surgeries or healing time.

Will my smile look like I have real teeth?

The simple answer is yes. Dentists anchor implants to your jaw, creating a seamless and natural-looking smile. You can also use your new teeth like natural ones, meaning you no longer have to limit your food choices!

Creating the perfect smile for you is a combination of science and art. We take a mold of your mouth so that our lab can create a personalized bridge to match.

We also schedule a check-up appointment six months to a year after your implant surgery. If you are not satisfied with your bridge, this is when you can decide to get your bridge replaced.

If you choose to get your bridge replaced, the good news is that we will not have to repeat the surgery. Our lab simply creates a new bridge fitted to the shape and color of your teeth. However, this requires an additional charge.

Can I get a single arch?

Absolutely. All-on-x is safe to use with your natural teeth or your removable denture.

Some patients may prefer to have either the upper or lower jaw dental implant for any variety of personal reasons. Just speak with your dentist about your goals for a satisfying experience.

How long is the recovery period?

Typically, the recovery period for patients is about 2 weeks.

The surgery takes one day, and most patients can immediately begin eating after the procedure finishes. Yes, on the same day.

Most patients experience around 10 days of mild discomfort, but report that having a new smile is life changing and very much worth the recovery time. It can take up to 14 days for the discomfort to stop. However, you should not be in such severe pain that it keeps you from going about your routine or eating habits.

What is the difference between Teeth Today and corporate implant centers?

Corporate dentistry runs like a factory. Their primary goal aims to get as many patients in and out of the office in a day as possible. Quantity is their top priority.

Teeth Today Implant Center puts you at the top of our list. Our friendly team provides individualized service for your needs. Unlike corporate dentistry, we prefer quality over quantity of service.

Corporate offices are also less concerned about having a relationship with you. Thus if you need a favor or become uncomfortable during a procedure, they don’t care as much as we do. Teeth Today strives to form a personal relationship with each patient, and your comfort and satisfaction remain our top priority.

If you still have questions, give the friendly Teeth Today Implant Center team a call. We are here to help patients in Norco, California, and the surrounding areas. It’s time to get your smile back.
